It's the weekend! Thanks be to whoever you believe in...or not.
I'm having a cocktail! It's been that kind of day. Everyone wanted everything right now!
I was fed up by the time I left work. Now I'm home where I am safe and warm and can drink my drink in peace. How ya'll doin'? ![]() |

Okay, since youre here, I have a delimma. A co-worker sort of set me up with a date for our Christmas party without even asking me. I've only seen the guy (cute) never talked to him. I have his number and was suppose to call him a day or so ago
. I think I'd like to go out with him but not to the party, not really a great place for a first date. I'm getting ready to call him...what do I say? I feel bad for 'cancelling' but I didn't ask him to go.......??????? ughh. |

Why not take him to the party? it won't seem so 'date' like and might be less pressure?

I don't feel any 'pressure' about going on a date...I like dates. It's just that I've been sick all week, feel like hell...it's going to be two 12 hour long days at work then on Sunday I have to get up early and go to brunch then the Nutcracker with family and the party is Sunday night. I've got an ugly fever blister and a bad attitude I'm not really dating material at this moment. |

Just tell him all that, I'm sure you won't have to worry about him wanting to go.

I was gonna say pretty much the same thing... play up that festering blister angle and you're home free.... ![]() |
