French fried onion breakdown

OK, I'm having a breakdown. I'm in charge of green bean casserole for Christmas. Really was optimistic that the new and expanded Pescadeli would have french fried onions but they do not! Hey, locals- any other ideas of places to check??
I can't show up without the green bean casserole so I may have to find a mule!!

This is one of the items I've looked for that I have NEVER found. We bring some back when we can, but they NEVER make it to Thanksgiving or Christmas. We (ie, I) eat them long before that.

You can always make your own french fried onions! It's more work, but they'll taste way better, I bet.

In a pinch, I have used crumbled Ritz crackers baked in the oven with a little butter mixed in, then top the green beans with 'em.Or cornflakes done the same way. Ok not THE french fried onions but purty good anyway.
