We just returned from a week at Copacabana and we are ready to start planning for next year's trip! This was our first trip to the area, and it seems like the rate I got was a pretty good deal--$1,300 for 4 of us/7 nights. I'm wondering if this rate is more reflective of Wilma or if rates like this are typical this time of year (early December). We had our choice of beach palapas every day, and I don't think I'd consider going any other time.

When I look up the same week next year, it shows a rate that is twice that, and I'm just wondering if this was a one-time deal that was an incentive to get people to travel post-Wilma, or if the specials begin to appear closer to the travel date.
