Oh and BTW....just went up and found MORE presents AFTER I tucked them in...Madilynn came out with easy-bake oven mix and said what's this "uh just stuff from the pantry!!" Count from 1000 backward and breathe!

I say the punishment should be to pick the filters outta the dog poop
.This thread is too funny. I would be pissed if i was found in that exact situation . For now i am laughing cause our daughter is 21 But she was one to totally press the limits of everything all the time. Now it would be a different story if our grandaughter did this same thing, allthough she is only 2. This would be funny cause we would be saying "hahahaha!!!!! our wish of her having kids somedaythat give her exactly what she gave us has come true"

Oh Traci...I don't think it's funny. This is coming from someone who pulled something similar to what your daughter did. When I was five, I decided to help myself to my presents that were under the tree. There were four for me, so I opened all of them. My mom got so pissed at me and my dad didn't do anything. Well...I thought I would get some more. Ha! There was only one more gift and it was freaking socks and underwear. My parents usually got our big present just a couple of days before Christmas. I was so mad...and my mom and brother could not stop laughing at me.
BTW, I love the look on your cat's face. It's like "Don't look at me!" |

And, of course you can FedEx all those unwrapped ones to me, although it can be a slow process to pack 'em back,

Traci at least for now it's just the small stuff. It may not seem so small right now, but i gaurantee you it will in the future. When they get older the situations can become much larger, with much larger consequences.
Hopefully the day will never come when those presents under the bed turn into bags of pills under the matress . Just look at it in that way for now. Good luck and i hope you find all the gifts.

As soon as the parents left the house for some party we started snooping. That was part of the fun of Christmas for us....trying to find where the gifts were hidden...opening them and then rewrapping them. I was quite the expert at that !!! |
