Nothing yet, we don't open "till Christmas morning. Waiting on Joe to wake up... This is the only morning of the year my sixteen year old gets up early! Joe and I are'nt exchanging gifts this year, we are saving our pennies to spend in Mexico! Have a great day and I hope all your wishes come true.

Sure would like to go back there one day!
He just opened a store here this year. In the past you would find a few things of his around town, but now we have the full selection. I had no idea how great all of his work was until visiting the other night.

One of my nicest gifts from David was a pair of beautiful red leather gloves with cashmere lining. For the past five years or so, I've gotten hooked on wearing red leather gloves during the winter and am always on the lookout for another pair cuz they're hard to find.

When I opened them, I tried on the left glove and found it to be a big snug (David wasn't sure of size). When I went to try on the right glove, I couldn't.

The "pair" was a set of two LEFT gloves!!!

I laughed my head off, but David didn't find it quite as funny. At least that was the only gift that we opened that'll require exchanging at the store!

We're having coffee ad Bailey's and waiting for our son to get his butt out of bed so we can rip. We bought a new stove last month, so that's the biggy, but I'm hoping to get some reference material to help me complete my screenplay.

I got a "Luggable Loo" (yes, it's pretty much what it sounds like) for camping, and one of those Leatherman's Tool things that's like a swiss army knife. I also got a very pretty bead necklace, a stopwatch, and a guidebook to Paris.

A young man wished to purchase a gift for his new sweetheart's birthday, and as they had not been dating very long, after careful consideration, he decided a pair of gloves would strike the right note...thoughtful and personal, without being excessively intimate.

Accompanied by his girlfriend's younger sister, he went to Sears and bought a pair of white gloves. The sister bought a pair of lace panties for herself.

During the wrapping process, the sales clerk mixed up the items. The sister was given the gloves, while the girlfriend's package contained the panties. Without checking the contents, the young man sealed the gift and mailed it to his sweetheart, along with this note:

My Dearest;

I chose these because I've noticed you're not in the habit of wearing any when we go out in the evening. If had not been for your sister's kind advice, I would likely have chosen the long ones with buttons, but she tells me she wears the shorter ones that are easier to remove and is very satisfied. These are a delicate shade, but the clerk I bought them from showed me the pair she has been wearing for the last three weeks and they were hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart.

I wish I was there to put them on for you for the first time, as no doubt other hands will come in contact with them before I have a chance to see you again.

The sales girl asked that I remind you that when you take them off, remember to blow in them before putting them away, as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing. Just think how many times I will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for me on Friday night.

All My Love;

P.S. I'm told the latest style is to wear them folded down with a little fur showing.
