We stayed at La Tortuga last year and really enjoyed it - in fact we are going back this year. I agree with the above post - the roof top jacuzzi rooms are OK - but I also would not pay extra for one. Last year we had a room on the third floor overlooking the pool - very nice for the price - this year we have booked a swim-up room. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The pool is very nice, especially after a long day at the beach. Their beach club, Mamitas, is on a beautiful stretch of beach in North Playa and the hotel is conveniently located near "all of the action" on 5th Avenue. I would highly recommend this hotel.
