A Return to Mexico but a Newbie Here

Hey, mid-20's, happily married chick here who loves to travel and have a great time. Not a big partier but I love to relax and meet new people while traveling. One of my greatest challenges is finding a cheaper way to travel than the travel agents quote me BUT still get the same quality vacation. So far I've done it twice out of two attempts and literaly saved thousands! I have nothing against travel agents and know they have to make money, so I highly recommend them to people who don't want to spend the hours I spend researching. Trust me, it's easier! I would just rather spend that extra money on spa treatments!
Went to Cancun for my honeymoon and booked to go to the Riviera Maya this spring with the same resort chain. Can't wait for our second trip to paradise!

Welcome, gammongal!! You'll find a lot more charm in Playa than Cancun offers - and lots of friendly peeps!!

What resort will you be staying at?

Xpu-Ha. We stayed at Moon Palace before and spent a day at Xpu-Ha. We know Xpu-Ha sustained significant damage, but something is drawing us back to stay there for longer.

I can certainly understand the draw, gammongal! David and I spent a very relaxing day on Xpu-Ha last February and loved it. Quiet and beautiful. And had a wonderful lunch at Cafe del Mar.

Also got to play tug-o-war with a pooch with a palm frond and got a good kitty fix too!
