GMTA...
My deduction exactly...kind of tricky.

Thankfully I failed

How can that be a test of your citizenship though? It's just a political and historical quiz.

Let's put a real citizen test together. I'll start you off:

1. When abroad do you wear: a bandana, neon wrap around sunglasses with a large baggy vest and shorts; or a short sleeved jungle/floral print shirt while puffing on a Cuban cigar?

2. Believe that Europe is very small and will fit into Texas?

3. Consider that the difference between East and West coast is as great in comparison to the American Civil war?

4. You don't own a passport or a foreign phrasebook.

5. You enjoy TV programmes that repeat the events of the last 5 minutes constantly as if you had the memory retention of a goldfish?

6. Use your car to even cross the road to your neighbour's house.

7....

I knew a farmer in Australia whose front gate was 70 miles away!

He hated to go and check the postbox every morning.

7....
Well...I'll answer as a Californian...
1. When abroad do you wear: a bandana, neon wrap around sunglasses with a large baggy vest and shorts; or a short sleeved jungle/floral print shirt while puffing on a Cuban cigar?
Shouldn't it be...black socks, Cuban cigar, black dress shoes, Hawaiian shirt, a camera, and binoculars for the guys, while the women wear a big floppy hat with a bandana tied around the top, hugenormas sunglasses, loud capris and a mis-matched top?

2. Believe that Europe is very small and will fit into Texas?
Believe that GB is the size of Texas, and the rest of Europe is the size of California.

3. Consider that the difference between East and West coast is as great in comparison to the American Civil war?
Actually, it is still South and North in this state.

4. You don't own a passport or a foreign phrasebook.
Or one totes 3 or more of them on vacation, but never opens them up.

5. You enjoy TV programmes that repeat the events of the last 5 minutes constantly as if you had the memory retention of a goldfish?
We don't have to leave our country to observe this. We do have the retention of a perch, but not a goldfish.

6. Use your car to even cross the road to your neighbour's house.
No, but then again, we can't spell 'neighbor' correctly either.

The Canadian Citizenship test is much longer and very difficult. When my friend was doing it she had a book of practice questions and I couldn't have answered half of them unless i seriously studied before hand. They ask alot of history but also present stuff about the economy in different provinces ect.
