Heading home to have my grilled chicken breast, broccoli and basmati rice topped off with a tablespoon of fish oil. Healthy eating sucks. Now I want White Castle after that other thread.

I found these at Cosco:

The brand is called "Sensible Portions" and you get a big box of individually portioned bags of veggie chips and veggie straws. The straws are kinda like a baked cheese puff. As good at tater chips? Not really, but they're a decent treat if you're dieting and craving a salty/crunchy snack (my downfall in life).

I posted this on Facebook, thought I'd post it here. The "before" was me almost two years ago. The after is me a week ago. Still some ways to go, but getting there.

Leasa, you look amazing!

Work out hilarity: so, my brother brings his TapOut DVDs to the lake because he started the program a few days ago. He convinces me to give one a try and we move stuff around in the livingroom at the lake. It's hard; I only make it halfway before I cannot do another lunge followed by a leap in the air. Gracie (my dog) stands right next to the TV like a statue, looking back and forth at us, a comical look of concern on her face. Lucky (his dog) worms over on his belly every time we do something on the floor, like "what are you guys doing, I wanna play!" We're yelling "Get out, Lucky! Move it!" He rolls over on his belly "see, I'm workin out with my people."

I forgot to mention: the TapOut instructor dude looks distractingly like Jason Stackhouse from True Blood.

Ah, so the fitness instructor is the added motivation you needed to get started on TapOut. Fitness porn. I think he looks like that actor Ryan Reynolds. Good luck with your workouts!

Fitness Porn! Thats what you call it! Guys take our class because the instructor is hot! They didn't realize she was tough and they never return!

Really I think it is because guys don't really like group exercise.

No, my brother is doing it. I did one DVD at the lake and almost died.

I'm still walking, swimming and biking for cardio. I just got a great DVD called Kettle Worx. Still hard, but with 20 minute sessions, much more doable for my fitness level. I need to start toning and more resistance training, so it's perfect.

My nephews insisted that my brother take their before and after pics too (you only get the Tap Out t-shirt if you send in your photo). They look like skinny refugees in their photos. The 8 year old tried to do one of the workouts and then later was saying "my abs hurt."
