So sorry to hear about your mom!! Try to stay on top of your choices so you stay strong and healthy both emotionally and physically. You got to get rid of your stress!!! Take care StewartG...good thoughts and prayers are sent to you and your family!

So sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope she's doing better now. Allergic reactions scare the sh** out of me. Luckily they saved her and she's on the mend. Don't worry about falling off the wagon. You gotta do whatcha gotta do! When you get home you can get back to your routine. My thoughts are with you guys.

Oh Nooo! I hope she gets better really soon. However, please don't let this defeat your healthy eating/exercising efforts. It's SO easy to get off that wagon and SO hard to get back on. Be strong and good luck to your mother.

Thanks for the thoughts and well wishes guys...

Mom is still in ICU, and its stressing me out to be back in Houston, but I had to get back for the kids. The *only* reason I left is that my mom is basically out of acute danger - now its just a matter of slowly getting off the trache tube and get back respiratory health and strength.

How many calories per hour does procrastination burn because i'm not losing any weight and may have to switch exercises.

With a "monumental" birthday coming up in December I decided I need to pick up what gravity is attempting to defeat as well as improve my strength. I joined a local wellness center/gym/physical therapy center and got myself a personal trainer, Keith, he's the new man in my life and he beats the crap outta me!

He says things such as: "this is part strength and part will" - all you have to do is challenge my will (ask my ex-husband) and I'm gonna prove my strength! For now I'll be seeing him twice weekly and tonight (hopefully) he'll start putting me out on my own.

Tommygurl... I highly recommend it - I'm a major procrastinator too, but my "new man" won't let me!

Wellll...Scott leaves for Mexico this weekend. He decided he needed to lose a few lbs. before he left. He had been eating less and more healthy as he had what I was cooking. Wasn't making the progress that he wanted so this past week and a half he cut breads. He has lost 7 lbs.!!!!! What!!!! I've been doing the same thing and don't see that type of progress!!! I am so discouraged!
