I pay about $36 per each one hour session at my gym because I committed to four per month for an unlimited time. They take it out of my bank account biweekly along with my membership fee. I can cancel the training sessions at any time though which is good since I plan to stop in a couple of months. If I just walked in off the street it would cost $56 per session. |

i am hoping that the several vodka tinis i had are making my eyes play tricks on me. i've set the alarm for 5:45 to do cardio for about an hour or so. then, after work, it's back to my trainer where she is supposed to custom design a booty and glutes workout to hurt me. gosh, i love her....she is putting the pain on me and i keep going back for more.A' |

I'm a member of Weightwatchers, and the past few weeks I've only been losing half a pound a week! But in all honesty I've not really been making much of an effort...
I'm also a member of the local gym which I absolute love once I'm there but it's getting my carcass out of my comfy warm home to go that I'm struggling with... I am however, becoming quite adept at airbrushing myself slim in holiday photos...

Not only has working out with him cut back my smoking habit to almost non-existent (4 a day) but I'm putting my alimony to good use

Today is day 5 of this 7 day fast/diet thing I am following. Yesterday was fine. Followed the fruit/veggie/soup routine with skim milk, bananas and lots of water. Scott is also following the fast and weighed in early this morning...he has lost 7 lbs! I don't weigh in until later this a.m. so we'll see...I'm usually slower to take it off than him.
Not hungry or tired or having any cravings. I never drink coffee, tea or pop. I miss my wine but want to stick with this for awhile to see what happens. Tonight Scott gets to have a steak for dinner. Since I don't eat red meat I'll have chicken. The loss of water weight intriques me. Thanks for the possible explanation Susie! I have always been a carb queen...would rather have bread than sweets! Cutting back on those carbs is always difficult for me. I'm no longer drowsy in the afternoon since cutting back so that's a plus. Now I really need to follow through with more exercise. Have been stuck inside due to weather so just doing light weights the past few days. I just can't get my head wrapped around working with a trainer right now. Maybe I will reward myself with that at my 10 or 15 lb loss! Thanks again for keeping the thread going with all the great advice and suggestions! |

Anyone else see that Alli, an over the counter Xenical, was approved for sale? Do you think people will try it...not sure the side effects would make it appealing to the general public. If you would normally lose 2 lbs a week this would make it three lbs a week. Being in the bathroom alot isn't appealing to me....or does that only happen if you go over on fat content??
