Wow! What a great report, I loved your pictures. You have the MOST adorable children! They have gorgeous eyes! You and the hubby aren't slackers either
Seriously though you have a beautiful family and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your trip!

We were toying with the idea of going away for the Holidays but I'm not sure if we will. We became the proud owner of a cottage on a beautiful lake this past November and there are a few things that we would like to do it, like build a small addition etc... Too bad money doesn't grow on trees uh?

I've been away from the site for some time, and just found your report. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and viewing all your photos. I have to echo what everyone else has said: what a beautiful family! I love the faces your son makes! Cracks me up. As did the toucan story and the "pukemobile."
I know what you mean about it being such a different experience with kids. Still a blast, but very very different. As Pattie says, "It's like going to a totally different place, but not really." Thanks for the tip about the ice cream...Haagen Daz is ridiculously expensive for little kids. And what's up with the photo-phobia? You are VERY beautiful! That's a great shot of you and your hubby with the strawberry marg's/daq's. Thanks for taking the time to put your report together!

Melissa!!! What a fabulous report...I finally got through it all...as my house sits in disarray (you know, laundry piling up, kids running amuck, toys everywhere...blah, blah, blah). What a great distraction this trip report was, though, because I damn sure do not feel like doing housework or any schoolwork for that matter. Now all I can think of is Playa, Playa, Playa!
The pictures are fabulous and you have a gorgeous family! I'm so proud to share a birthday with you! Ah Cacao does have fabulous brownies, by the way...when we were at the RPR back in April 06 I stopped there one night for some chocolate mousse and a brownie...I think I OD'd on chocolate that night (because I was also eating the candy from Shammy's Easter goody bags from the Peep Meet). Cozumel is fun, isn't it?? Our first ever experience with Mexico was Cozumel and we were on a cruise ship, but since that first visit back in 2000 we've always rented a jeep and headed out to the eastern beaches and bars. Punta Morena is our favorite...hopefully it will be built back up by the time we are there in September. I loved your report...the kids looked like they had a blast and I cannot wait to take my rugrats to Mexico...well, I CAN...I am not so certain I'm ready to share Mexico with them just yet. But, mine are just about the same age as your's so........ Hopefully we'll meet up in Playa one of these days...not sure if we can swing a New Year's visit...it all depends on the cash flow...but I'll try!
