I was in Playa in July and saw a painting in a window that I fell in love with, but the shop was closed. I wrote down all the information but lost it on one adventure or another.
If anyone can tell me with this sketchy information how to get in touch with the owner, I would be grateful. It is in that new mall thing (for lack of a better term). You know the one that looks like something at a theme park? It's a gallery on the street level. The painting itself (in case anyone ever saw it) is of a woman with a basket of calla lilies on her back. It is breathtaking. I have searched all over for something else and I don't think we will get back down until probably next summer. Thanks!!! |

I think you are talking about La Ciudadela, which is on 4th street between 5th and 10th avenue. A ciudadela is a fortress. We better work quickly on this one, as this fiasco is closing. Drop us a line through the contact us link below if you want further help.
