Three weeks in Playa ..will it be enough??

Just kidding..... if you've been there before, you KNOW it's not long enough!
We're staying at the Hotel Eclipse and looking forward to it more than words can say!
Any other northern "Wisconsinites" who will be there at the same time (February 12 - March 1)? If so, we almost "live" on the beach by Ancar Playa (hanging out with our Minnesota and Canadian friends, all of whom we met in Playa).

Three weeks would a great start, I would just like to move there and take a holiday back here in the snow for three weeks.

Where in northern WI are you from? I'm originally from Superior and my sister-in-law is from Green Bay. I guess they're both northern WI.

PEEP FEST looks like a great time!! We will definitely have to check it out!!! Thanks for the info.
Last year we were there for the "Carnival" parades on Constituyentes. Does anyone know when that is celebrated this year?

Hayward .... home of world record muskies, Lumberjack Championships, Birkebeiner cross country ski race, not to mention months and months of snow, ice and cold.

I love that bar in Hayward that has the stuffed animal diaramas (sp). We get to Hayward about once or twice a year. Nice area.

Very little snow, but plenty of ice. If it's cold enough for water to freeze, it means it's too cold for us!!! My husband said he's going to put a snowmobile on a trailer and keep driving south until someone asks him what that "thing" on the trailer is for... I say leave the snowmobile and fly to Playa, spend the winter, and come back in May. Someday .....

We leave Feb 14 for 4 weeks. It can't come soon enough. The family business requires too much of my attention in January to leave any sooner. Plus one of the grandsons has a birthday on February 7. If we ever decide to spend our winters in Playa, I think we'll have to fly home for that birthday. He doesn't see his birthday as 'normal' without us
