Bill Gates in Cozumel

A Mexican newspaper reported that the yatchs of Bill Gates and Paul Allen were anchored in Cozumel this past week.

If you happened to be around the international pier or by Punta Langosta on Jan 4th, and saw an incredibly beautifull and long yatch it could have been the Meduse or the Octopus (at 414 feet long the second largest yatch according to the newspaper). The permit asked was for 4 days, so by now they should have gone anywhere else, but they visited Chichen Itza and did some scuba diving.

If you DID have a chance to meet either Mr. OR Mrs. Gates, consider yourself lucky! Living in Washington State, we have had several occasions to meet or see both of these fine folks and they're delightful and SOOOOO nice!
No idea about Mr. Allen - he stays hidden, I think!

Sounds like me. You know Ron, wearing socks and sandals in the airport makes it so much simpler to take them off for the scanner too.
