I would suspect they are the same...

I was wondering why no one recommended El Cejas?

Last Friday we were at El Cejas and had the most delicious grilled grouper lunch with friends from Cozumel. It was all browned with grill marks, cooked perfectly, and the sides of veg and rice were good too.

There were seven of us, most drank Cokes and there was one beer I think, and the bill was 100p each including tip.

Yeah, James turned me on to that place last year. Fantastic seafood. I'm especially in love with their wide selection of ceviche choices!

Stewart, if you haven't wandered down to XpuHa beach yet, have Nerak and Gasman direct you toward Cafe del Mar on XpuHa beach. No bargains, but a great day of eats and drinks to be had! The seafood is fantastic -- we loved both the whole fish, and the octopus prepared in the greek fashion, I believe was the translation.

Sigh.

We have been eating at La Pesca on 30th across from Mega and think it is the best seafood in Playa! Cheap, great food, nice people. EAT HERE so they stay in business. PlayaDelSoul turned us on to this place and it is soooo good we forgive him for being a Bush supporter (well,...almost ).
Seriously the menu is terrific. Our favorite is Cazuela Camarone (Shrimp Casserole) which is tons of giant shrimp cooked and served in a thick bisque like soup of cream, tomato, peppers and other good stuff. A large bowl is a complete meal. The cheese stuffed shrimp are also great. Oh, and the fillets with cheese and spinach. This is a good place.

Sounds great!

We'll have to buy you dinner there next time around, deal?

I just love an oxymoron in a nice bisque....

I plan to try it during Peep Fest!
