Harold I was in Eagle River this last weekend ate at a great new place called Riverstone. It was very nice they are written up in some mag as having one of the largest wine selections in the country. You should stop there when you're back.

Any of you Hayward folks know a guy named Mike Burris? He's in his early 60s orginally from Platteville. He used to tend bar a Karibalis. We would run into him there or a the Angler's when we used to come up for the Birke. He has a place on one of the small lakes in the area, I think. I went to school with him at the UW P'ville and we spent lots of time comsuming alcholic beverages together among other things. He's a short stocky guy with a bald head and probably a handle bar mustache. Just wondering.

When will you be there? As soon as we get my brother's vacation schedule, I think Parrothead (Jason) and I are going to try and plan a Hayward Peep meet!

Yeah, Jason did mention the Angry Minnow...nice little brew pub in town. Would be nice for a gathering. Wicked good barley sodas there!
norml...I know of Karbs but not the gentleman you asked about. I'm horrible with names but I may know the face. Jason (parrothead) has lived here since forever and he probably knows Mr. Burris.

And we don't have snow either. They say global warming is a bad thing, but I've never been a fan of the snow...

BURRRRRRR...Welcome. It's fun knowing that there are so many of us enjoying the near zero temps this week and we are all here on the boards dreaming of our upcoming vacations in warm sunny Playa! We're about 25 miles stratight north of Milwaukee.

Big HOLA from Superior

I will act as representative of the real Northern WI, until such time as I am replaced by someone from Bayfield or Corny.
