Hola from the Pacific Northwest!

Hi to all from the Portland suburbs. We are George and Joan and we are travelaholics. There we said it....whew! Actually, we like to travel as much as schedules, finances and family obligations allow. We try to alternate adventures with our kids and without. We are especially fond of the Caribbean. Even though we have arguably easier access to Hawaii and the west coast of Mexico we just can't get enough of that beautiful ocean and white sand the Caribbean has to offer. Last year was Jamaica with our boys and it was awesome. This year it's Playa del Carmen and it's just us. Woo hoo! We visited Cancun several years ago and really enjoyed it. Thought this trip would be nice for just the two of us to spend time a little bit off the beaten path. From everything we've read and seen from the great people on this forum, we picked the right place! It looks gorgeous and sounds like a lot of fun.
We'll be there from 2/11-2/16 and are counting the days!
Nice to meet you all in a cyber sort of way and hope that we'll be able to connect with any of you that will be there when we're there. First round of drinks are on us!

Seriously though, enjoy your trip!! PDC, Tulum and Eleuthra are the top three items on my list of places to go someday. Welcome !!

OK WornOutTire...I'll bite. Being the newbie I can claim a moderate amount of ignorance. BOTB? I can think of a few things it COULD be - especially with the cam involved. But y'all don't know me well enough YET for me to embarass myself by guessing. So spill it...help me out here!
