family vacation in Isla Mujeres
this is our first trip to Isla Mujeres. We've been warned about high food costs. I know this is true of resort restaurants but is this also the case of local restaurants? Besides not drinking the water how careful do we need to be about what we eat?

We spent a week on Isla last Feb. You can eat cheap, drink cheap and live cheap.
Monty did poke his head up once but I think this happens to everyone at one time or another. Don't worry, you will have a blast. |
