Ipod question
Well, I had my old Ipod stolen
I just picked up the replacement. How do I go about removing the old ipod info from Itunes and add the new one using the same name? I'll bet this is really easy but the Itunes help doesn't really

We just added another ipod to our family. I was worried that we'd have problems but we didn't. All I did was hook it up to the computer with my itunes open and it did the rest (My daughter bought her own ipod and gave her shuffle to her brother). I didn't want to have problems with having 2 ipods with Madi's name on them in the itunes area so I renamed the shuffle. It was easy. I just clicked on it like I would if I was renaming a file in Windows. After I renamed the shuffle I rearranged the music in the folder to match Christian's musical interests.
Does that make sense? I hope that helps! |

That's right. First, though, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. You can download it from the iTunes site. Then, when you plug in the new device, it should recognize it and walk you through the process.

That does lead to another question. I have my Ipod and my son has his Ipod. We have the common Library of songs. Of course, there are some songs that I don't want him to have and some of his that I don't want to hear
Can you have a separate library for each Ipod? If so how do you set them up? |

This weekend I'm taking my youngest son's to the "Thing's Remembered" kiosk in the mall to have his name engraved on the back of his iPod. You might waht to do that for your new one...
