I'm with you on this one! I have seen too many people learn the hard way that their Norman Rockwell plates in the original box and their Department 56 Christmas villages can't and won't appreciate faster than s**t through a goose.

Stewart, I had forgotten about the Beanie babies. My daughter has about 25 of them (mostly presents from family), but we should have sold those babies when people were going nuts over them.

As a side note, why do you like All Clad better?

What should we do with a 12 piece serving sterling silver cutlery set (with servers) that my husband bought in Taxco about 10 years ago? We have never used the pieces all this time. I don't know how to go about selling them and not losing out.

Was looking at Sango Nova Brown stuff today on ebay.
Ruthie dropped and broke either the salt or the pepper shaker.
It's what we're currently using in the kitchen which went form blues and yellows to earth tones a couple of years ago.

I think that I love the Fiestaware because it reminds me of Mexico! The bright colors look great on my table. I always make sure that I use them, and every person gets a different color at dinners. I also have a lot of the serving platters and bowls.

My husband collets literally everything. His collections change each year. Now, he is collecting Slot Cars and Slot car tracks- from when he was a kid and earlier.
We have a very eclectic mix of antiques on display in our family room- from a Coke machine and a juke box from the 60's,to a "Hires Root Beer Barrel" Keg/Tap, to old sleds, to vintage tin containers, old skates, old Police decanters, etc. My list can go on and on.
I'll post pics of some of our collections tomorrow.

Over the years I have bought myself Coach handbags (sometimes two per year) and realised yesterday that I have way too many of them, especially since styles change. I also have four Dooney & Burke that looks almost brand new but since I prefer shorter straps now they've been stashed away. Is that a collection without knowing it? I've got to take a handle on buying and start downsizing. Too much clutter confuses me

How does one get an account to SELL on Ebay? Anyone been successful at this? Is it a PITA? Maybe I should really start doing this? The money could come in useful for new stuff!!

I used to collect their Snow Village collection...they are now in the attic waiting to be sold on ebay...along with my Martha Stewart book collection and any other junk I can find.

I also have a collection of tea cups/saucers and antique noise makers. Oh and more recently I got into collect scrapbooking supplies but I'm expecting to use all of that one day.

I like ebay...and if I could just get organized, I could perhaps make some money.

Box it up, send it to me and I'll sell it for you. 65%/35% split.

I collect Fiestaware - both old and new - and have a really great collection. I also collect shot glasses, but only ones that I buy or that friends bring me when they travel. I have 250 plus. The only place I couldn't find a shot glass was at Disneyworld - guess Mickey Mouse didn't drink - and that was 20 years ago. Things may have changed since then.
