Who's a collector Im addicted to eBay

Any collectors out there? I first started collecting vintage cameras then old household items. Now I have a huge collecton of vintage toys and trains. Mostly the toys are vintage Canadian trucks and cars of all sizes and materials. Now our house looks like a museum a very crowded one at that.

I used to collect miniature tea sets by Wedgewood, and then I started on Peggy Nisbet dolls (UK), and added Limoge mini tea sets, dolls from all over the world in national costumes, and a host of things. As I get older, I am tending to downsize and throw stuff out. Too much clutter to dust and clean. Would never collect anything again (useless) again, no matter how cute. We were in Europe for a month and I refused to be tempted by the gorgeous things over there. Instead, I now am the proud owner of Wusthof knives, Le Creuset pots, and Waterford crystal glasses. Only things I actually use will hold my interest.

Never did become a fan of Ebay, but your stuff looks interesting It can definitely take over the house and your life

Bluespicker and I went through an intense collector stage. We are mostly over it now. We collected Salt glaze stoneware, musical instruments, furniture, cigar memoribilia, primitives and this and that. At the end, every thing we collected became too expensive and very hard to find. Then we looked around our overcrowded house at all the dust catchers and hauled a bunch of it to auction. We actually did pretty well. Now all we have left is the best of what we bought and I am tempted to auction that off to. Funny how "things" become less important as we become less young

In my first world life, I used to collect Fiestaware, Lu Ray dishes, 50s style painted cake tins and other 50s kitchen stuff, vintage tablecloths, pie birds, antique "Heather" makeup tins, and books. Now, for the most part, it's all gone (my mom still has some of it). I don't collect anything now except limestone dust and dog fur balls.

A looooong time ago, I collected those Precious Moments figurines. Not sure why. I don't collect them any longer and I have a bunch. Maybe I ought to SELL them on Ebay!

I used to get Longaberger Christmas baskets every year for my girls until they said they didn't want them. Oldest has about 16 of them.

They used to collect Beanie Babies so we have themstored someplace around here.

I collect Fiestaware- if your mom's looking to get rid of yours---I'd be happy to take it off of her hands!
My "fine china" is Fiestaware. I have about 16 full place settings, all in different colors. And, I have picked up a few antique pieces for my hutch. The really nice pieces can be really expensive!

Believe it or not, I sold it to a dear friend, the entire lot, for 50 bucks. I felt better about it knowing my loved things were going to friends.

Shop on ebay way too much I collect Colors Magazine. It's printed in Europe by United Colors of Benneton and is only recently sold in Canada due to it's content. A store a very long time ago used to carry them in Vancouver and someone called the cops and they were hauled off the shelf. The Magazine issues are dedicated to specific topics such as Fat, Smoking, War, Amazon, Travel, Slavery, Violence, HIV. Old issues are very difficult to find, War on ebay recently fetched $175.

I collect shot glasses (over 600+ so far).

Went through a phase where I was bidding on/buying Hard Rock's and Planet Hollywood's on eBay.

But then I came to the realization that the BEST shotglasses are the ones that either I buy myself in person as a souvenir (I think the last one I bought was when Andiline (Andrea) and I visited Rockefeller Center in New York last January) or, even more importantly, the ones that my friends bring me back from wherever they go on vacation. I always feel so special to know they've thought of me when they were on vacation in some far away place.
