We've booked a week at the Rosa Mirador. It's so inexpensive I'm beginning to wonder. All we're looking for is a decent room, bath and a secure hotel- like camping with a shower. At $20 US a night it sounds great but are we in for a surprise????? Thanks

The only surprise you may get is a good one. Rosa Mirador is very good value for money. Close to the beach, clean and nice (basic, but nice). Definitely a hotel, not camping.

I've stayed at the Rosa Mirador 4 times. The rooms are basic, but it's very clean. It's close to everthing in PDC. Rooms on the second second and third floor have a nice ocean view(over the top of the ******). If you want a nice big room check out the suite. It's got two beds, kitchen and sitting area, hugh bathroom. And it has a nice big balcony overlooking the court yard with table and chairs. A great place to sit in shade on those hot afternoon and enjoy a cold cervesa. It's hard to beat for the price. i don't think you'll be disappointed if your looking for just a basic room. It's a good value for the price. And the location is great!! I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

Great news...thankyou. My husband and I will be in Playa on Dec. 1st- 1st time trip- for some much needed R&R. We didn't want to be insulated from the real Playa- life as it happens. We've had a great time reading this forum- the best on the web for Playa info.Looking forward to a flauta at Salsa's!

I stayed for a week at the Rosa Mirador in September. It is very clean, and the
location is excellent. You can walk across the stree to the Eclipse for break-
fast or for coffee in the evening. You are only a 1 minute walk (to the Blue
Parrot) and the beach. Great deal for the money. I'll stay there my next time
down also.
