Another Cheesehead

Yet another one joining the club.
Headed to PDC (to stay...not just a daytrip from Cozumel) for the first time in late March. Barbara and I vacation down where it's warm each year 'bout that time.
When not soaking up the sun and barley sodas, I attend as many Indy Car races as time and $$ allow.
Cozy little spot on the beach you have here. First one's on me!

Welcome to the board IRLFAN. Got your PM about the Birke. Havn't been able to make it for the last couple years due to conflicts at work. Wanted to get 20 done and have 2 to go. No snow to train on this year so it doesn't look good but we'll have to see.
About this Indy Car thing. You might want to consider checking out the ALMS/CCWS event here in Elkhart in August. I know as an IRL fan you might not be interested but who knows, maybe we can convert you.

norml...I don't buy into the split thing too much. If it's open wheel I watch it. The sporty car stuff too. I actually thought about RA last year but used up my kitchen passes on IRL stuff. Glad I wasn't there to see Kat's tumble. She's a tough broad. I was at Chicagoland and saw Briscoe's shunt. Thought for sure it was a fatal.

Hayword, one of my favorite summer vacation spots growing up! Actually bought a couple horses up there many, many years ago. Uh oh, could be giving up my age.

Welcome from another WI resident. It seems were getting more and more every day. You'll find this place warm, welcoming and full of wonderful helpful fellow peeps!

I saw Salt Walther's crash at Indy in 1973...Swede Savage's too...in fact I saw SEVERAL at Indy that year...

But the worst I've seen was Kenny Brack's at Texas in 2003.

Wisconsin is the Dairy State, so natives are often referred to as "Cheeseheads".

Actually it was pretty amazing she was able to walk away from it. They took her to CC medical for evaluation and I saw her exiting the trailer after they released her. You never would have known she had gone through what she had. Great example of how far they've come in protecting the drivers in what in prior years would have been a devastating situation.

Funny, I grew up in Milwaukee, and now live in Hayward....small world.

Three houses down from me... Which is pretty stupid as we could just go out and yell at each other on Davis Ave.
