Hola everyone... I'm new to this site and these forums. I just returned from the sun & surf of beautiful Playa Del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. My wife & I stayed at the Mayan Palace for a week then at Aventura Spa Palace (our timeshare) for a week. We miss Playa and can't wait to return next year.
Vancouver is beautiful (still melting our last snow-fall) but Playa is where my thoughts are. I was brousing to try find a webcam and came across your webcam on Playa beach. Any chance I could find out the exact location of it?

The beach webcam is installed at Shangrila Caribe's diveshop on Playa's lovely North Beach. The camera functions 7 days a week during daylight hours and connects to a one-megabit aDSL uplink via an 802.11g wireless connection.

New to this site. Going to Playa for the first time in March - joining up with Ontario friends who are sooooo in love with Playa! Looking forward to discovering it for myself. Can I wait that long???

A few of us are trying to plan a peep meet for maybe the 25th or 26 th Of March, will you still be there then? If interested go to the Peep Stuff forum and join up. Look for Holster or jackfrost
Once you have been to Playa, the rest of the world is spoiled!!

Thanks for the heads up on the webcam location. Taking an occasional view of the beach makes being in the rain a little easier to take.
