Greetings from the 10,000 Lakes! MINNESOTA

Hello fellow Playa Lovers! My husband and I were in Riveria Maya area last year Jan 21-29, 2006 and we loved every moment of it!!! We stayed at the Barcelo Maya-Beach side. I was hoping to go back this year for a friends wedding, but my husband started a new business recently, so we were not able to swing it. I'm so bummed about it, so I had to go on this site to hear some stories and see some pictures! Our friends left today for Playa...they are getting married at the RIU Yucatan on January 25th. If anyone happens to be on the beach at 2:30pm...tell them congrats

from Anne & Don! ha ha They would so get a kick out of that!
I love the webcam on this site...oh it brings back some wonderful memories...thanks for having it!!

Welcome to the neighborhood! I love Minnesota and its 10,000 lakes! We often went to Little Whitefish Lake (Close to Mille Lac) to a family resort when I was a child...very fond memories that inspired the business we are in now.

And, Jacko, I thought of you when we drove by Mille Lacs today. They were holding races on the lake (antique snowmobiles, four wheelers, and stock cars).

Welcome Granite Rock. Mille Lacs is a great fishing lake. We have a place in Aitkin but never fish Mille Lacs anymore. We go to Secret Lake(ha ha ha).

Hello Ronaldo. A secret lake huh....sounds interesting! I usually head to Minnewaska or Green Lake for boating! It's always fun times...

Hello to the fellow Minnesotans. My wife and I were in Playa last year during the first week of April and fell in love. Unforotunately, we will not be making a trip this year, but we plan on returning in '08. There is nothing about Playa I didn't like and we can't wait to go back.

I do all of my fishing on Lobster Lake, near Alex, but Lake of the Woods is a can't miss.

Welcome fellow playa Lover!! Yes I totally agree with you... nothing I didn't like about Playa either...actually I wish I could live there but I highly doubt it'll ever happen in my life time. I'm hoping to get back to Playa sometime this year...but if it doesn't happen defiantly in 2008!
I've been to lobster lake before.....nice lake! Check out Minnewaska sometime...Waterama celebration is a blast! Last weekend in July. It doesn't compare to Playa and the wonderful beach, but I'll take it.
