Till recently, these cars and other hybrids didn't seem feasible because of the payback on mileage-vs-cost of car. But when gas prices hit $5 or $6 per gallon (which they will), then everyone will be giving them a second look. We will have no choice. But the price will still suck! We are already re-tooling, but we need to quicken the pace.

but I can't help but worry that when millions of these hydrogen fuel cell cars hit the roadways, the exhaust will find it's way into our waterways ... and yes, from there to the sea... and soon, sea level will rise 20 feet!!!

Screw New York and San Francisco! They'll just have to make the sacrifice so the rest of us can live!

When something that lopsided and ignorant is the starting point, can you blame people for being a little leery?

Christ, am I starting to sound like a liberal? And yes, screw Kyoto for now!

War and re-tooling go hand in hand and usually result in an increase in employment, and economic growth (which we could use right now). Maybe we could also reclaim some of those jobs that went overseas.
Yeah!
