We had hundreds in line! The turnout was unbelievable! The police were directing traffic away from the school and people were walking through the snow we had yesterday. I was really touched by how many cared about the caucus and the canidates.

Same here. As a democrat in Idaho, I didn't feel so lonely anymore.

That's how it used to be here but because of voter apathy and because it is a predominately republican state.

There was way more turnout than expected where we were, too. We had to park and walk 10 mins to get there, and many didn't get in on time because they couldn't find parking, and there were some angry exchanges when the learned they'd missed the Presidential nominee voting and couldn't go back. Another argument in favor of a more typical primary, I suppose.

Thanks for asking, Roni. Other than his surprise at seeing the consistently even delegate split but consistently uneven voting, he didn't say much. That didn't surprise me. I figure it's an initial volley in his political awareness that will be valuable later.

We didn't see long lines or anything out here, so I was quite surprised that Hillary R. Clinton won in this very Republican-Bible-Belt-State!!

Needless to say, our Republican friends are pissed off

Clinton wins Oklahoma

Of our 2 daugthers, one is way into it, the other not. My step-daughter and I have had many good political discusssions, sadly that seems to be about the only thing we can discuss. My daughter on the other hand is completely apathetic. This morning my step-daughter, who is in Israel going to school, text Messaged my daughter here, telling herl to go vote My step daughter voted a few weeks ago with an absentee ballot.

I was fortunate enough to find a parking spot at the bank across the street. The security guard had just left and there were two spots left. It is a pay parking lot, but I didn't care. A man got the other parking space and he was complaining because he had to pay to park there. Sheesh...we were so lucky because people were having to park several blocks away.

That is sad. The young people need to be more involved and active. They're the ones I think that could bring about change. Hopefully she will change. I've been busy calling friends and family encouraging them to vote. My mum was sick for the past week, and I went by to visit today. I asked if she wanted to vote. She said HELL YES. Through the drizzle and cold she went to vote. I was so proud of her!

Wow! Virtually a dead heat in Missouri as Obama is closing the gap with late reporting precincts.

California early returns 5.8%

Clinton 53%
Obama 32%

McCain 43%
Romney 26%

These numbers will change a lot.

Looks like what I saw at our caucus was pretty on target state-wide:

Missouri does look a bit tight, don't it?

Not too bad, so far.
