Allow me to try again to clarify all of this for your roni...I stated clearly that I was speaking of definition 2 in regards to the national lead that Obama maintains....later, I was also speaking (just for fun, just for you) using definition number 5 to demonstrate his maintenance of his NC lead.....(that is, he has successfully defended his lead) (see below)
Despite all that, on numerous occasions, I likened the comparison to Hillary in Pa so that you might recognize that I fully realize that Obama has lost ground in NC, just as Hillary did in Pa...but you chose not to listen to that while ramrodding your tired old point over and over again in a tired attempt at "being right" at all costs... So why did you post this?...and what kind of fella exactly do you have me figgered for, roni? Why do you repeat all this crap ad nauseum, when you already knew that I acknowledged the narrowing of the NC poll gap by the very fact that I compared it to Hillary in Pa.? You are really, really confusing me here, roni...it seems like you are beating a very dead horse and your vague inferences of others qualities, capabilities or character are not kind to you. Quote:

Well Jacko,
You can dish out not credible insults and you can maintain that Obama has maintained his lead when, in fact, it has been cut in half. You can do anything you want to. So go on ahead and keep on doing it ![]() ![]() |

I think I'll just keep playing with my extended metaphor here, and leave you boys to your argument, because I forgot a key point.
Imagine that same scenario, with a team playing better but only in the final couple of minutes when already down by several scores, and the announcers ignoring that fact and the scoreboard and just focusing on the team's recent improvement, all the while wringing their hands and talking like it's unclear who will win. That kind of coverage would be idiotic. It would be dishonest, manipulative with respect to people tuning in to see how things are going, what the results are. It would be the equivalent of lying. And NOW imagine that the losing team claimed, despite all this, that those announcers were biased against them in that coverage! Ridiculous. Welcome to the Democratic Party's campaign for the nomination for the presidency in 2008, and press coverage of said same. Steve Last edited by ryberg : 05-04-2008 at 10:27 PM. |

Tee-hee again: CBS/NYT tracking over last 3 days shows Obama over Clinton by 12, 50-38%, 4 points higher than they had him a week ago.
I mean if you're into polls and think they mean something, you know. ![]() Steve |
