As you looked at the exit polls, did you see a way for Obama to win the state, if those polls accurately reflect what folks are doing in the voting booths?

CNN just broke it down very nicely on why the race is now over.Looks like Barack is going to get a double digit win in NC.

Turn out the light the parties over!!!

As if on cue, a team of analysts on CNN said that they did not think Obama's performance would be very different if he were a white college professor, and in no small part because of Clinton's continuing conservative drift. They looked at and described Obama's block as a traditional Democratic block.

They also say she's basically out, and one just said it's time for the Democratic Party to take that last family trip with the pet to the vet.

His words, not mine.

I just walked away from the CNN on the tv. To me it looks like Indiana had a lot more voters than NC. It seems to me that NC didn't have that many "popular votes" than Indiana. Overall I think Hillary beat Obama in both states. Just look at the numbers overall and get back to me.

Maybe I'm foolish or naive, but I'm gonna have to stick by my prediction a few days ago that she either withdraws or is pushed out in the very near future. Axelrod makes a good point and it can be extended, too: even if she wins IN (as it seems she will do), she will if this keeps up finish the day farther behind in both pledged delegates and the popular vote than she was when she started it. How does that justify continuing?

In this case, your claim sounds to me like the equivalent of the comments made by some that there's no need to worry about the black vote if Clinton is nominated, because surely all those black folks'll just vote for the Democrat, like always, and not the white guy Republican, and also not stay home. Too much stereotyping and taking them for granted in that, for me. Plus, I bet you'd find you the results were rather different from what you claimed.

Steve
Steve, I only mention what you stated in your post. Come live in my neighborhood and discover what "those black folks'll" are talking about.

Well I am still confused about that.......but I just heard a CNN announcer proclaim that he finally found something Hillary was ahead in overall in the primary totals...Obama has won more states, more popular vote etc...but...............she is ahead in all states that have more than 3 vowels in the their name...

He also wondered why everyone is so concerned about Obama's difficulty with white working class voters..his point was that this was because these are largely a Republican voter class that Democrats typically lose by a huge margin.
