As if on cue, a team of analysts on CNN said that they did not think Obama's performance would be very different if he were a white college professor, and in no small part because of Clinton's continuing conservative drift. They looked at and described Obama's block as a traditional Democratic block.
They also say she's basically out, and one just said it's time for the Democratic Party to take that last family trip with the pet to the vet. His words, not mine. Steve |

I just walked away from the CNN on the tv. To me it looks like Indiana had a lot more voters than NC. It seems to me that NC didn't have that many "popular votes" than Indiana. Overall I think Hillary beat Obama in both states. Just look at the numbers overall and get back to me.

Maybe I'm foolish or naive, but I'm gonna have to stick by my prediction a few days ago that she either withdraws or is pushed out in the very near future. Axelrod makes a good point and it can be extended, too: even if she wins IN (as it seems she will do), she will if this keeps up finish the day farther behind in both pledged delegates and the popular vote than she was when she started it. How does that justify continuing?

Well I am still confused about that.......but I just heard a CNN announcer proclaim that he finally found something Hillary was ahead in overall in the primary totals...Obama has won more states, more popular vote etc...but...............she is ahead in all states that have more than 3 vowels in the their name...
![]() He also wondered why everyone is so concerned about Obama's difficulty with white working class voters..his point was that this was because these are largely a Republican voter class that Democrats typically lose by a huge margin. Last edited by Jacko : 05-06-2008 at 07:36 PM. |
