Its very uncomfortable to this Dem voter that she walked off stage, instead of being there by his side. You guys know that the "First Lady" is very important! All I know is Michelle Obama is now proud of the USA. Obama better start getting her out there with him!
I'm still waiting for an answer!

By the convention, we need to be all singing Kumbaya - all of us who are Democrats.
That is why I welcomed you on the Obama train!!

Like your call for Hillary to withdraw now, you are premature on this one also.

I will be there, as I have written since near the beginning of this thread, as soon as the Democratic party has a nominee. Close as I can tell, that will happen at or before the convention. It will likely not happen during the primaries. I do not believe that such an outcome can be successfully negotiated between the campaigns.

over 45% of the Democratic voters in IN thought the Wright story was important.

Over 72% of them voted against Obama.

Tell me the percentage of the first is lower among independents and Republicans.

I sound like a Democrat Jacko. That should come as no surprise to those who have been working in Democratic campaigns starting back in 1968.

I have worked for independent candidates also, and have voted for a few Republicans - but my primary affiliation has been Democratic.

I still think there is far too great a chance that Obama will be a Dukakis or Kerry, or McGovern, or Mondale. Way too great a chance.

I do not think he should get the Democratic nomination, but if he does I will work toward his election.

I'm listening to NC speech and no where is the "future First Lady". What!! She is still not proud enough? C'mon lets have a response to a legitimate situation. "Michelle has lived it" I'm serious about this. What about this so called First Lady? This is what the repubs will attack and win in the general election. When this happens, I will look back at ya'll and be pissed. BTW, I will do my part and vote for Obama, but it won't do any good. Please keep this post intact so it will show all of you that you made the wrong choice.

RonH, let me break this to you gently: over-concern with things of that scale is exactly the problem in our politics.

Great speech!

BTW, I simply posted this because in my heart, I feel Hillary is the best choice for our Dem's Party. I won't be posting anymore, because Obama has won the overall primary after tonight. I just think it will be a terrible mistake in Nov.

Are you serious that the moment had such gravity to you?

Who knows why she wasn't there in the middle of the speech? She does have young children there. She is very attractive and might be distracting from his message? Who knows?
