Does it qualify as pulling a Stogey if you post more than 3 times in a row but a night intervenes?

DCW is reporting that Obama has picked up 2 more supers this morning, from LA and IN (Donnelly), and says to watch for another from CO later today (Udall? Salazar?).

They also report -- and so far I haven't seen mention of this from the larger news outlets, though maybe i'm missing something -- that a pledged delegate appointed for Clinton in MD after consultation with her campaign (?) has switched to Obama. A very unhappy potential precedent, I fear, if it's true...

Update: Turns out it's Roy Romer, former governor of CO and DNC chair! Hadn't thought about him. Also the party chair from DC, so now 4 on the day and a clear double-digit lead in supers overall. This sort of thing should help lessen whatever sting the WV win may deliver.

Steve

The MD guy you are thinking of is probably Jack Johnson. He's the County Executive in Prince George's County, which borders DC. Big local news here this a.m. He's a bit of a waffler. Originally an Obama supporter, then switched to Clinton and now is switching back.

Yes, that's the guy. Seems odd that he was thus chosen in consultation with the Clinton camp to represent them -- not much vetting there, apparently, for people so concerned with proper vetting! -- but then that's really a side issue. And maybe this happens from time to time during election years, anyway, I don't know...

Just as left leaning politics will eventually triumph , not only because our ideas are superior but because our music is better than that awful right wing "music". Obama will triumph in the election partially because of this:

Quote:
NEW YORK (AP) — Barack Obama is closing in on the Democratic nomination for president, but he clinched the race for the best campaign soundtrack long ago — no superdelegates needed.
John McCain and Hillary Clinton also have plenty of musical support in the first presidential election of the YouTube era. But from will.i.am's star-studded viral hit "Yes We Can" to amateur odes folk to Spanish-language tunes and even a Jamaican reggae tribute, Obama is the leader in what observers are calling a new form of political campaigning.

I wonder what Obama's "official" campaign song will be? Are these usually revealed at the convention?

I love Beck! And I agree, I think he will go more contemporary than the traditional, not-too-controversial, baby boomer vanilla classics usually picked.

If he picks from the hip hop world, I could see him going with more political choices like The Roots, Common, or Talib Kweli...though wouldn't an old school song like Ice T's "OG" be awesome (who can forget that badass intro?)

Perhaps The Boss would offer up one from his new album? (wasn't Kerry's song Springsteen?)

I believe Scott was making a joke not in keeping with the current zeitgeist.

Yep, Kerry's was Springsteen.

If I remember correctly Reagan used "Born in the USA" often. Just goes to show you how few people actually listen to lyrics, much less understand them.
