Taxi from the bus station

was wondering if someone could tell me if we will need a taxi from the bus station. We are staying at Hotel Blue Beach, I don't mind getting a taxi but only if I need one. We don't have a lot of luggage, a wheeled bag and a shoulder bag apiece.

We stayed at Blue Beach and walked from the bus station. It was not bad... I think it is about 10 blocks, and with luggage it feels like a long walk, but it is definitly doable.

We are staying at Luna Blue in May, and I think we will get a taxi for that, as Luna Blue is at 26th, across Constituyentes. Normally, I would walk, but with luggage it is just a pain.

Heck, for only $2.00 you can grab a taxi. They are soooo inexpensive in Playa, why not...

Do they have bicycle-cart guys that will take your luggage whilst you walk?

That is what we do on Isla de Mujeres, and I seem to remember seeing them at the Playa bus station, but I am not sure.

jperge, forgot to ask you last night - how did you like the Blue Beach? Did you hear the music from *Banned* from your room?

Nope we never heard music from *BANNED*. I really liked the Blue Beach hotel! The rooms were clean, and there is a little walkway around each room entrance that serves as a balcony. We stayed in a Master suite which was perfect for our group of 4, it had one regular type room connected to a kitchen suite type room.

Here is one view from the balcony

and our view of the ocean... small thought it was!

I don;t have any photos of the rooms with beds, but they are just like normal hotel rooms anyway. These photos were taken in 2004.
