Any other Playa bums in early April?

Is it too early to plan a meet April 10-17? Looking forward to meeting some interesting people!! Been two years since last we were at PDC.

You can begin planning one whenever you want, but because the dates are almost 3 months away, it's going to be difficult to keep the thread active and on the front page for people to see until then.

I'll be in Playa during that time frame and I'm sure that I'll be planning another Easter peep meet one night - but I usually wait until about a month before to put up any info about it.

Either way, you can be sure there will be a peep meet or two while you're there!!

Shammy we booked the trip today, so we are extremely excited. The post might be a little early ,but, we just can't wait to get to paradise and have a cold one with some fun people. Please keep us informed when you do get something going that week. Thanks

Cuffedlinks, We are going to need help with the counter again. We are staying at the Riu Palace. I couldn't talk my husband into staying in town. We are going to do some research on hotels while we are there. The next trip we will book in town.

We will be there April 10-17 as well - staying at RPDC for our first trip. We plan to take it easy most days and we would like to join other peeps for cocktails!

Hey cuffedlinks it has been a while! Annette had a baby in Feb. I started a new job. Been running crazy around here for a while so now we are looking forward for some reconnection and fun in the sun!!

The beach area of the Riu Palace starts JUST after the cobbled pathway and as you may remember, meanders through the many, many palms down to the beach....there's conflicting reports on the status of the beach, from fair to not very good depending on WHEN one is there....

The Playacar beaches in front of the resorts seems to constantly be in a state of flux....

jobob, what was the state of the beaches in front of those properties when you were there in December?

Let's make sure we bring this back up in late March or so. I will be at the Playa Maya with my wife and will look forward to seeing a few of the Peeps that post here periodically.
Alliteration aside, I am ocassionally a horrible conversationalist but may squeek out a HOLA or two while in PDC!

Snow Blind we will definitely do that. We met a group a few years ago at Cabalovas. The owner moved the next year we were there so who knows if it still exists. There are a number of restaurants that we have been to even though we are staying at an AI. We enjoy getting into town and feeling the vibe.

Cuffedlinks thanks again for the help on the counter. When the website got updated a while back, we lost our pictures on the multimedia. I am going to have to repost some from previous trips and post some from the upcoming trip when we get back. This website is such a valuable resource for people who need to gather information for their vacation.
