Hola Amigos & Amigas!

Loke’s trip was awesome! Other than dealing with the day to day snarls with culture/communication clashes, my only SNAFU was pretty much my fault! Not realizing the Fusion Hotel was 5 blocks from the Bus Terminal! – Doh! I hailed a taxi and said “Fusion Hotel por favor”. He headed North. After going through the gated condo/AI streets we arrive at a hotel, but it didn’t look quite right to me! I ask the concierge “Fusion Hotel”???

Him: “Si Fusion Hotel”! I say to myself Hmmmm! Aight-den – I get out and proceed to the lobby….I start to check in….they look at me funny…I again ask Fusion Hotel? Someone responds “Fusion Hotel”….Here’s my confirmation #…. Not in the System….I ask one more time “Es Fusion Hotel”? Someone replies “Es Fisherman’s”… Ah-ha!

So they hail me a taxi and I’m actually only ½ hour behind checking into the FUSION Hotel….Where by the way, the staff is wonderful! Gracias Santiago, Martina, Victoria, Wanita, Huglio and Kim!…..

The stay at the FUSION was great except my room was too close to the lobby and kitchen, so I gained another bag or two under my eyes over 10 days…

The PEEP meet on Jan 11th was mucho fun! It was a great way to meet my new found friends! I was able to hang with YAK = Jack & Donna for a few days at the FUSION. Then Gingele = Jason & Amy and L.O.A.B = Michael and Terra checked in and the games began! Also, Rich and Patty are lurkers, but they saw my Nerak beeds and so we had some great yucks as well!

A typical day for me was: breakfast after 10:00, when all the continental connoisseurs had there fill, I would order eggs to get a good base for the day….then hit the beach, where the best people watching/meeting takes place! OMG, the senoritas where out and about! Being the “leg and ass man” that I am, I was treated to sites of some spectacular, well toned, soft, dark skinned, bonita, mouth watering LEGS! Then, throw in some bare breasts and you pretty much have made the trip well worth any misguided taxi rides to FISHERMAN’S!!!

Then have a snack and cervezas and watch whatever entertainment on the beach that was playing at the FUSION… Since my room was so close to the lobby, I didn’t have much luck with siestas so I would start the fiesta! Had some great dinners with my new amigos and amigas, walked 5th & 10th and every where in between…pretty much hit every bar that serves liquor…Late night = 12th Ave….I miss the old *BANNED*! 4-5 years ago you could walk up from the beach and sit by the dance floor, and have fun! No cover, no hipsters, no Cancuner’s, no B.S.!….. WTF!

Formula 1 Boat Ride = a…..RIOT!!!

55-60 MPH!! Every time we were launched from a large wave, landed hard on another, we would laugh our asses off until we hit another one! Faster, faster, harder, harder! Where have I heard that before!!! You definitely take a pounding on this ride!
The lunch was good and the snorkeling was: seeing my first sea turtle swim directly below me by 5 feet!!! Muy Bueno!!!

Bought a Jelly Fish lampara (lamp) for mi casa…

Sissy from Israel! It was a pleasure to meet you! I had a great time hanging out with you, you are a very sweet person! I hope you are enjoying the buds! ;-)

All in all, the trip was fantastico! Cant’ wait to get another count down started!

Tony, nice report and pics. Has the girlfriend seen these??? I think you had your picture taken with every female in Playa. Leaving in 17 days for Playa. Looks like you got a real nice tan also. Gophers did pretty well since you were gone. Might make it to the ND game this weekend. Hope to see you soon.
