I just had to post this. Out of desperation trying to do something for my chronically dry, peeling skin I picked up the huge tub of Cerave cream at Target. It's a 16 oz tub. I had heard of it before but somehow thought it wouldn't be safe to use on my face.
I finally feel like I don't always have to wear makeup. Still have a little bit of redness on my cheeks but much much better than before, and it's a lot less expensive ($15 with a coupon) than the myriad expensive face creams I've tried.

Funny you mention Cerave....
At my annual skin check at the dermotologist last month, I asked her to recommend a good night cream/lotion that would actually SINK IN to my skin and do something about the dry patches I sometimes get. Seems other lotions/creams were just sitting on top and not actually helping. Cerave was her recommendation. My first question, "Do I have to buy it here??" (anything at the doctor's office costs an arm and a leg, of course!) Her reply, "No. It's over the counter at the drug store!" YAY!! I bought it at Walgreens for about $12. It's the "Cerave PM", and I love it!!! |

I have never seen that cream here....I imagine we have it by another name or brand though- what is in it, what are the ingredients?
Might it be good for heels and elbows too? The urea cream I buy (Uremol 20) is pretty expensive. But wow that stuff works on dry cracked heels! |

Here are the ingredients for the cream: Ingredients Purified Water, Glycerin, Ceteareth-20 and Cetearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6-II, Ceramide I, Hyaluronic Acid, Cholesterol, Petrolatum, Dimethicone, Potassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phytosphingosine, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum. I think it's the ceramides and hyaluronic acid (helps retain moisture) that my skin likes. The PM version also contains niaminicide. |

I purchased the CeraVe PM the other day, so I'll see how I like it. I just need to use it...I am terrible with moisturizing my skin, even though I should be more diligent at my age.
![]() Just came home from getting a spa pedicure, gel manicure (that stuff is great!), and my brows waxed.....aaaahhhh I feel like a new woman!!

Nordstrom has some nice dresses. You can fine tune your search by color. Are you looking for this color? Darker? Maggy London Stretch Satin Sheath Dress | Nordstrom |

I went shopping.... hmmm maybe this dress or maybe that one. Had to think about it... I found one from Nordstrom on line, had it shipped to me. It was to big so the nice thing was I could take it back to ANY Nordstrom. Got credit right away. Then ordered a new right away. It's very easy, so give it a try. I am not an on line shopper but this time it worked out for me... |
