I wear Bad Gal Lash by Benefit (as do all my friends) It makes your lashes look long, lush and fake lol But yeah it is about $25 a pop too, I get by on 2-3 tubes a year.

Where did you have them done?
It sounds like it might be, but I cannot imagine trying to do it myself. I had them done at the spa that I go to. The lady that did them has been doing them for about 3 years now.

I dont think that it hurts your eyelashes. You only use a pin dot amount of glue on the tip of the fake lash and apply it close to the base of your own lashes. The fake lash will fall out when your own lashes naturally falls out. Sometimes the glue wears off too after awhile.
I did find though that I needed to apply a thin coat of mascara as my lashes are very thin and dont curl naturally and you could see the difference between the fake ones and my own.

I would be interested to know where Mfl's Queen got hers done and if the lashes are comparable to the ones you buy at the drug store. The only thing with the ones you buy at the store is that they are all the same length and I would have to trim some of them for the inner corners.

I did a lot of research before I had them applied, and did not see anything that said they would cause damage. I have had some shed and some come off, and it really doesn't seem to do anything to my lashes. I feel totally comfortable and trust the lady who did mine.

Is that the kind of mascara that have fibers in it that cling to your lashes?

I did find out in my research that there are different qualitites. The ones that I have look totally natural and curl up beautifully, and you cannot tell the difference. And, my lashes, as I said, are very short and stubby. No need for any mascara with these. You would not want to trim these, as then the ends would be blunt! These do come in different lengths. The brand that I have are 3 D!

I do know that there is a tanning salon here that does them, as well. But, the spa was a heck of a lot cheaper than the tanning salon, and they are the same brand...3 D.

That sounds cool. I might check into that and see if anyone around here offers it.

Sounds like you had an allergic reaction...I get them easily, so much that I rarely try anything new. Hope your face feels better

Honestly, I'm not too sure, it feels/looks like regular mascara, it comes in a fat tube and has a fat applicator brush.

That Lancome L'extreme is supposed to be a fiber one, literally like putting on falsies with just the wand...
