I have a bad addiction to shoes. And not just expensive shoes...I mean ANY shoes...In the past 6 months alone I have bought three pairs of sketchers, three pairs of Nikes, one reebok, one addidas, teva flip-flops, nike flip-flops, cheap high-heeled faux-suade knee boots, and more that I can't think of right now...and that's not including the shoes I bought for Kelsey and Jorden either....

I need a 12 step program for this.

Love my Bare Minerals make-up, don't know how I ever did my liquid foundation....never again.
There is a home spa lotion that I love, love, love. It is called Sensaria in the Mango scent I have the lotion, body butter, shower gel, and salt scrub.
I've never been super picky about my moisturizers, I've used lots of Mary Kay products. I'm not picky, but I always use moisturizer. I may have to try the Oil of Olay.
I love buying new products so I always have new stuff I'm using as far as shampoos, conditioners and hair goop.
I love my Cover Girl Multiplying Waterproof Mascara, everytime I try something different it bothers my eyes...so I just stick with it. My favorite eyeliner is Revlon Colorstay in Vixen...won't buy anything else...well, except the Clinique eyeliner sometimes.

I love:

Jason Organics E.F.A lotion

Philosphy's 'Falling in Love' fragrance and body wash

Joico Hair shampoo/conditioner/ and hair products

My new Chi Farouk straightening iron - AWESOME!

Chi Ion Hair Dryer (dries my hair in 1/2 the time and is softer with less damage!) I LOVE THIS THING!!
.

Oh yea...and OPI or Essie nailpolish

I use Philosophy's "Falling in Love" body lotion too and love it! Isn't that great stuff? I also LOVE Vanilla Bean Noel from Bath & Body works...smells so good. If I bother to remember to put perfume on, lately I've been using either Bulgari Eau Fraiche or Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia...Jo Malone has so many great fragrances.

For shampoo, at home I use Nexxus Therappe & Humectress conditioner & love them both, especially the coconut smell. When traveling, I use Origins shampoo & conditioner...smells like peaches and keeps my hair from getting too used to the Nexxus products. For protection from the sun, I have a great spray on product from Kerastase that works really well.

For facial moisturizer, I LOVE the La Mer line but when traveling to the tropics, it's a little thick so I use the Oil of Olay Regenerist line of facial moisturizers, eye cream, night cream, etc... Seems there's a trend on this board of quite a few people using it, it's pretty good stuff! My sister introduced me to it a couple years ago and since then I've seen it on all kinds of news/talk shows re how it's recommended by so many different professionals.

For makeup, the only things I can't live without are Clinique mascara and All Heart moisturizing lipstick. Oh, and Yves St. Laurent lip gloss #3.

In case you fall off the wagon, may I suggest DSW shoe outlet. Gotta love a shoe store the size of a football field. And for those indulgence days, Nordstroms off rack!

This is a great thread! I have to say that I use a lot of Clinique products (especially their City Base Foundation with SPF 15). I am allergic to almost all perfumes so I have to be careful in choosing any types of body wash/shampoo. I like the MAC eye shadows as well. For an inexpensive everyday body moisturizer I use Vaseline Inensive care for Sensitive Skin. Works great and has the same ingredients as their pricier counterparts.
I never leave home without lipstick or those lip gloss with a bit of colour and my eye make up. On holidays it's a different story! I am currently looking for a shampoo to help control my "poofy" hair. My hair is thick and has some natural wave but I blow it dry. Here in Manitoba the weather is so dry that no matter what product I use it "poofs" up. I have a professional ceramic flat iron that I use but I don't always have time in the morning.

I am in the same boat. My husband just doesn't undertand the addicition. I have to keep my shoes out of sight. I also love getting manicures and pedicures. Tried Gel nails but they damaged my real nails and flaked off within a week.

I'm kind of a girlie girl I'm also cheap but I do have "must haves". Bare Essencials foundation and blush, Studio Gear lip gloss and pencil, Maybelene mascara (pink and green..3 bucks a tube.) I get to sample and use some of the best skin care products in the world at little to no cost and right now I'm stuck on Skin Medica (goooooood stuff), 302 and Astara. I MUST HAVE Bio Silk for my hair, and earrings earrings earrings!!!! I love jewelry. Don't get manicures cuz in my profession it wouldn't last long but I have to have a pedicure every couple of weeks...I wear flip flops in the snow so the toes have to look nice Natures Gate Hemp Oil body lotion, Ulta 3 dollar bubble bath ( have it in every scent), Secret Vanilla body spray and Zents solid perfume oil. OH and my round brush....couldnt do without it!!! I guess thats about it.

Here are my "can't live without things"
  • L'Oreal double extencion Mascara. Use it everyday
  • Sothy's moisturizer.
  • Victoria's Secret Body Splash (LOVE THOSE)
  • A perfume by Lancome that's called Oui, haven't found it for awhile though..
  • Eyeliner from Gosh..
  • Good cover up stick from Body Shop
  • And I always wear lipgloss.. Usually with no color.. I buy the cheap ones because it's really no difference in them and the expensive ones. I like the ones that smell all fruity
  • Body butter from Body shop.
  • And I use John Frieda's products for my hair.. The Blonde line. Recommend those products. Also a line for the brunettes.
  • I use Nivea cleaning products, like Cleansing lotion, Toner and their masks..
  • I always use Vaseline for my lips. Even under lipgloss. I have cans all over the place.. You can buy the normal one and with aloe vera.
I hardly ever use any foundation or powder.. Don't even have powder. but if it is a really special night I but on liquid foundation from No Name... Otherwise just plain me.
I color my eyebrows and lashes because otherwise they would be no color.. But I always use mascara.
I have a sickness for earrings.. I have too many.
I also like to use eyeshadows and have found that they are the best that don't come in a "fast" form.. just like powder.

I think I'm done..

edit: I love Lush bath products. They usually 40-60% moisturizer in their soaps and stuff. And I use a body scrub from nivea in the shower also.

Louise... great idea to start a separate thread!

I like to think I don't use too many products or am a product whore but after thinking about it there are a lot of things I can't live without
  • Vitabath - Been using it since I was a teen, love the fresh fragrance
  • Neutrogena Bath Oil - post shower, while wet, blot dry, then moisturize on top (love the fragrance, it reminds me of sunshine)
  • Body lotion - Jergens, nothing expensive - just slather on all over
  • Neutrogena Foaming Face wash (takes all makeup off)
  • Regenerist (as if I needed to say that )
  • Physician's Formula - Anything that goes on my face (powder, bronzer, etc.) - great and inexpensive line
  • Clinique Advanced Concealer (love the way this stuff goes on - like lightweight spackle )
  • Makeup Brushes - Must haves (different sizes, must have an angle brush)
  • Waterproof brown mascara (to cover my Bonnie Raitt grey streak between colors )

I'm not at all averse to going out without makeup on (it is what it is ) as long as I'm moisturized from head to toe.

Very important announcement CVS.com has all Regenerist products on sale 25% off with free shipping on orders over $50.

I was just reminded of my number one, numero uno, all time, must have beauty product.....baking soda. I have a huge bag from Costco next to the tub. I use it all over my body in the shower a couple of times a week and on my face as a really lite scrub once a week.
Okay...there, I think I really am done now.
