I'll ask about eye lashes when I get my brows done. I know you can get lashes glued on, one-by one but I don't know if they last.

I'd love to have longer, thicker eyelashes!

Will you please take close-up before and after pictures so we can see how it changes things? I'd especially love to see 'em if you do the eyeliner too! You can be the guinea pig for the rest of us!

And I'm hoping for a totally honest report about the pain levels and discomfort and healing afterward, okay?

Oh I really having hate having my picture taken. But for my fellow peeps, I'll give it a try. I'll be blunt and honest about what it's like. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I'll try to gauge it in a middle of the spectrum.

Also, I'll see if Kathy has photos of other clients, such as her sister. I am having minimal eyeliner but Wendy has a great face and her brows and eyeliner tatoos are very easy to see.

Healing????!!!!!!!!!! I never thought about that... (what if my eyes swell shut? what if I'm allergic to the dye? what if my ...... yikes!)

I'm looking forward to spending 12 days in Playa with doing nothing to my face during the day but applying sunscreen and sunblock on my lips, letting my hair just "do its own thaaang" (no curling irons or hairspray allowed!), and only applying a little mascara and lipstick in the evenings. Awwww... the freedom of it all!!!!!
I didn't have any make-up items with me on the last trip to Playa, just a lot of body and face care products (sunscreens, after sun lotions with aloe vera....) and didn't miss them one bit! I didn't even take mascara or lip gloss! I'm definitely doing the same this year!

What can I say? Chances of getting what you want are a lot greater if you ask!

Oil of Olay with SPF 15. I also use Coppertone Sport waterproof and sweatproof when in Playa. It doesn't bother my skin. then at night I slather on the Oil of Olay!

Susie Q,

What is your level of pain tolerance? I need something to go by when I try to explain the brow tattoing. For example, I honestly fell asleep during a root canal but can't have a filling done without novacaine.

Also, after I take the pictures one of my friends will have to help me put them on a disc etc. I may need someone to post them for me since I have no clue what to do.

(I like techie stuff just about as much as math!)

The 40's... I know them well!
I love Clinique's City Block but with the cost it is a bit much for vacation (re-application and all.) Most are too heavy but I'm going to give Sun Wear Faces Daily Sunblock SPF 30
(by Banana Boat) a try next vacation. Description sounds good:

Can't wait to hear all about it! There was a lady in the early morning Curves class who always looked fabulous at the crack of dawn but claimed she wasn't a morning person... the eyeliner was her "secret"

I've got a pretty high pain tolerance I guess. I find dental work not particularly pleasant but I tolerate it. Waxing doesn't bother me much, either... again, not exactly pleasant, but I'm nowhere near screaming or crying. I did have a doctor tell me in my 20s when I had my tonsils out that he had never seen anyone breeze through it like I did without complaint... so maybe I'm tougher than I think, even.

And I'll be happy to post your pictures if you get them. If you're just taking them with a film camera, ask (or check the option) to have them printed to disc as well as paper.
