I will! It will be at least 4 weeks I think before I notice anything. I bought a sable craft brush to apply since the Allergan 3 ml bottles of Lumigan don't come with an applicator. I paid 415 pesos for that teeny bottle! Not sure how long it will last. I was looking for a good online pharmacy that delivers to Canada but can't find one...I did find a US one that was charging about $13 a bottle though. I think I will just ask for a scrip from my doctor in January at my physical and then it will be covered by my insurance.... ![]()

A Shout Out For Channel !!!
A few days ago I went to the Look Good Feel Good class (or what ever you want to call it) - put on by the American Cancer Society. I admit I went for the free make up and fellowship. They give you tons of FREE MAKE UP - not a trial size, not 1-2 little samples...but a basket of neat products and goodies I hit the Jackpot.....I got a bunch of Channel...can I just say ...I love it. I am way to cheap to ever buy it on my own...but they gave us lotions, potions, perfume, make-up ......all kinds of goodies. What a great program this is and it is free for any one that has cancer and is going thru treatment. The companys donate all the goodies and products. I did not need a wig or head coverings because I had all that, but they had that as well (all free).............but they gave me a really pretty port pillow (it goes on your seat belt). I plan on sending an email to Channel to thank them for this. (Mary Kay and LaCombe also had a few things in the basket) - But Channel really went overboard

good to hear, I assume you have had good results and no negative side effects? I try very hard to not get it in my eyes at all but sometimes a little gets in. I used to have pretty thick lashes, but I suppose that is yet another wonderful thing about getting older, they are thinner now. Quote:

Question!
I would like to order a few summer things for our trip in February....some of my stuff I have is too big now since I lost weight, and not many stores around here have much for selection (although there are a couple, they are also fairly overpriced too.) Looking for sites with summer or resort wear- bathing suits, sundresses, skirts, cover-ups, etc. I had a few things in my 'basket' on Everything But Water.... and then went I went to checkout I realized the shipping costs to Canada were ridiculous! anyone have any favourites?

A friend gave me a sample of Revitalash to try. I stopped the Latisse and used the revitalash for about a week or a little more, and the lashes started to go back the way they were, so I am back to the Latisse. |

My lids are a tiny bit red and itchy now too; glad to hear that should go away. I know why it didn't work for you....Latisse and Lumigan both have the .03% (or .003%? whichever) Bimatoprost.... Revitalash used to, but were sued by Allergan (who makes both of the other two) and now contains no active ingredients that actually WORK.... ![]() Latisse and Lumigan are chemically identical, I guess- but the latter is way cheaper. I did read that if you are an American and convince your doc to prescribe Lumigan, for cosmetic use, it can A) affect your insurance down the road as it will show you as having been disagnosed with Glaucoma as that is the main reason people use the drops ...or B) if you try to use your insurance prescription coverage to pay for it, that can constitute insurance fraud. What I am curious about is if I can convince my doc to prescribe me Lumigan for cosmetic purposes and how much it costs without using my prescription coverage.....I would hate to have to keep buying it on trips to Mexico.

Well, that explains whey the Revitalash didn't work, and set me back. I will toss it out!!
I would never use insurance to pay for the Lumigan. I originally got the Latisse from a plastic surgeons office, but then starting purchasing it on line. I will stock up on the Lumigan when I go to Mexico, but other than that I will continue to get it on line. |
