My Project for the trip...

I have decided to customize the insulated (thermal?) mugs that I bought for us all for our upcoming trip to IB Quetzal. Last summer I bought 8 mugs that were in 4 summery bright colors with a clear outer layer. There are 4 couples going and so I picked them up while I could get them. It's pretty hard to find the insulated mugs here in WI in the winter months. Now, my project is to engrave (with my husband's tool engraver) everyones name, the dates of our trip and some fun tropical things (palm tree, fish, cocktails, shells, etc.) They are working out pretty well, and I cannot wait to give them to all our friends! I just hope it keeps my mind off the trip (somewhat) and that it makes the time fly faster!

Sounds like a good plan. We are there until the 14th of May. I would like pink and Kevin would probably enjoy green. We'll wait for you by the pool at Xaman Ha

How creative you are!! That is SOOO great!!! What an awesome gift for your friends and also what a wonderful souvenir of their trip!
