Some time ago I read about some trouble in the Guatemala area near the border with Mexico, but no more than that.

I just re-read the whole trip report just for the pleasure of it, great pictures.
I will add some more pics of the Palenque site Museum to another trip report.

Thank you Jesus! My friend took a phonecal to the Guatemala Embasy in Norway, and they said it was not safe to go. This was in June 2011, so I don't know how it is now.

I would very much like to see the pictures from the Palenque site Museum. Can't wait!

This is for any Springsteen fans and Heather (a cub fan like me) going to see the Boss at Wrigley. I guess they can protect the field. First time seeing anything but a Cubs game at Wrigley. The stage is going to be in centerfield facing home plate. Seats half way between home and first base, upperdeck(yes I'm cheap but thats what binoculers are for).

Anyone else going to any of his concerts this summer? I guess he kicked ass in London.

But I guess you have posted in a wrong thread?

BTW: I haven't posted anything about this years travel to the Riviera Maya yet because I have a problem connecting to the server where I post my pictures. But I hope to solve the problems soon. So far I have only posted pictures on Facebook.
