Bandanas are great for wiping sweat off your face when you're out on excursions or to tie around your head to get your hair out of the way (if you have long hair), or use as a scarf if it gets colder (for you that will apply only on cold bus rides). It's just one of those little things that have been very handy for me on my travels. Maybe it's just me...

Oh, another thing that you may want to bring, is antibacterial hand cleaner - sometimes there won't be soap available at public restrooms.

Thanks again Anna. The bandanas will be great for Kari. And we will bring some antibacterial wet tissue.

What a wonderful plan! I can't wait to read your trip report. I'm glad you got into Shangri La, I think you'll really like it.

Yes, we think we will really like it there too. We have wanted to stay there since we first saw it.

After what I have learned the only hotel we have to reserve on our roundtrip will be that inside Tikal, Guatemala. So now it is bought. We will stay at Hotel Jungle Lodge from July 29th to July 30th. We are so excited.

When you go to Chiapas, donīt forget Lagunas de Montebello.
Before hitting Palenque I would love to visit Tonina.

Thank you Jesus! I will write down the names and we will see what we manage. I don't know how easy it is to find, and go to, these places. But I would like to visit them all.

Both are easy, accessible and mayor touristic spots. Look for them in a Chiapas map, and do a bit of Google on them.

We live in PaaMul and can come to you in Playa to pick it up.

And I'm very jealous of your trip!
I will see what I can do.
