Who's heading to RPR soon?
So after much back and forth, back and forth... I think I have decided on staying at RPR. Think it would be nice to be pampered. Anyway, I visited over at TripAdvisor, like I do from time to time, and the last few reviews of RPR are horrible
Now I know you can't always trust these reviews, but it just seems strange because they were all lumped together. So now I'd just like to hear from some "real" people here about their stays at RPR in the near future. So, anyone going soon? And please don't tell me.... "Mercy, just book your trip!!!" ![]() |

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel - and trust me, I've stayed at/seen plenty of AI's so I feel qualified to pass judgement.
Some Trip Advisor reviewers are just huge whiners! Besides, if someone just came back and told you here they hated it, does that mean you would hate it too so you wouldn't book? Or if someone came back and said they loved it, just on their word you'd run and book ASAP? You need to make your own decision, based on your own wants and needs. Ok so NOW go book your trip! ![]() Last edited by Shammy : 01-30-2007 at 07:13 PM. |

![]() Ok, so now if we can just pick a date I've determined that too much research can be hazardous to your health. ![]() |

!!! We are all so excited!!!I, too, have seen those reviews. To each their own. I'm going in with my eyes and mind wide open. Do I hope for a perfect vacation? sure do !! but I'm a realist and I have decided I won't expect 'perfection'. As long as I get the room I booked, have sunny skies, a drink in one hand and my book in the other while laying in the sun I will be happy. :-D Belinda |

Mercy, ditto what Tommygurl and Shammy have said. We will be going to the Royal for the THIRD time in December. I like reading tripadvisors reports for a laugh.
I like the one that said "Beware the food is too gourmet". Give me a break. The food is delicious and the drinks are plentyful and tasty, and the beach is to die for, and don't even get me started on the georgously trampy rooms..... |

We were at RPR from Jan 26 to Feb 2 - absolutely loved this hotel. Previously had stayed at Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar and Riu Tequila. RPR beat them both hands down - food, service, rooms (agree totally trampy and loved it), location to 5th, beach all totally awesome. I honestly can't think of anything at all to complain about, except that I had to come home!
Just read the reviews on trip advisor - not sure at all what these people were talking about. Didn't hear anyone at the hotel that we spoke to that weren't totally happy. Would we stay at this hotel again? Absolutely! |
