safe airport transfers

hi, is it best to prearrange the airport transfers? (r/t CUN to downtown playa). There are so many I don't know where to begin. We would prefer a bus over taxi (safety) and found it expensive if the hotel arranges it in comparison to some of the transfer rates I have seen posted here. Don't want shoddy trans but don't want to pay thru the nose either

All the information you want can be found on this site, under the Read More tab at the top of the page. Go to the Arriving in Playa del Carmen section to read more.

If you want cheap, comfortable and safe transportation from airport to Playa, dont hesitate and take the ADO shuttle bus. It leaves once every hour and will make your trip easy.

perhaps you should go promote their product on their forum, not ours. We here at this forum support ours, one of the few services available for sale from this website, which helps keep this website online.

We (6 of us) used the the playainfo van shuttle service 2 years ago going back to the airport, very good (newer Ford van). We were at the Playa Maya and the driver (Miguel) came around from 8th street across the sand and helped with are luggage. We also used them for a day (same driver) for a trip to Tulum, stopping at many beach bars on the way back. Now we take the bus.

I've used the van service available through this site. It is well worth the money. Like someone else has mentioned, the ADO bus is a great option.
