Survivor Fiji Preview!

We just watched a preview of the next Survivor. they showed quite a bit of the camp and the landscape. there was also a brief "look" at each of the contestants. They are a few very "interesting" ones and a few remeniscent of past players (e.g. Rob and Shane)

There are 19 people instead of 20. One of the contestants quit right before they started shooting. (they were already on the beach)

Cannabilism is the theme.

Exile Island has live poisonous snakes.

The immunity idol is hidden on one of the beaches, not on Exile Island.

All 19 start together. They get divided into the "haves" and "have nots".

The art director has a great Aussie accent and amazing dreads!

The camp for the crew, etc., is huge. (and has a lot of conveniences)

It's a mix of ages and cultures.

It was on the TV Guide channel. Thats how bad the tv shows have been. We're watching the channel listing channel.

It was a good preview.

I saw that on Sunday night so they must be re-running it, maybe those that missed it will have another chance.
Said they were going to divide the tribes by ethniticity again but decided against. O
I'm so ready for Amazing Race (with no football delays),Survivor and Lost. Add in my Heros' addiction and I only have Tuesday night off during the week.Thanks goodness for my DVR.

So excited Survivor is back tonight!!!!

Interesting concept for this season's show....kind of like the Apprentice where they are living in the mansion or tents...

...I think it will be a neat twist that they get to build their camp

And I heard on the news this morning the one girl who quit had a panic attack right before the filming started and walked off the show...

Kinda funky that they don't have "alternates" available for cases like that. People are crawling out of the woodwork to get on reality tv shows.

I heard that too! That would have beem a drag! Get all that way and not get to stay.

I wonder the same thing....you would think they would want to have the 20 people to make the tribes even....and go back and select the person that almost made it...

Does seem like a waste of time for both her and all the people that took the time to do her photoshoots and press releases....
