Okay, am I the only American who hates Starbucks coffee???
There is NO WAY I am going to Starbucks, McDonalds, Burger King or any other US chain while I'm visiting Playa this summer. Don't get me wrong... there's nothing like a Big Mac and fries when the craving hits you. But I'm going there to soak up a little Mexican culture and partake of the local cuisine. I can get a "flattie pattie" anytime a few blocks from home. (Oh, and I will be drinking my share of coffee while I'm there... but it will be from a local vendor.)Last edited by redhed65 : 04-10-2008 at 08:13 PM. |

Oh, I'm sure you aren't the only one, but I do love it. I haven't gone there on my trips to Playa tho, I keep it local, I can have Starbucks anytime I want here at home. Same with McDonalds, BK, Subway... I can have those anytime so I like to eat there what I can't get here.
