US-Mexico national soccer teams, Feb 7 (R)

When Two Tribes Go to War, Two Is All That We Can Score.

Sorry, Playa Hoops and Puck fans.

The TV's in pretty much all the bars in Mexico are going to be turned to Phoenix for a couple hours this week. I think it's 8 PM Playa time, Wednesday, Feb 7. You're going to need The Mother Of All Propinas to watch hockey or basketball this Wednesday. Or a place run by a baseball fan.

Sorry, PlayadelSoul. But I think that our 8 year long unbeaten streak against Mexico at Sea Level is over.

Mexico's coach Hugo Sanchez was the 5 time scoring champion in Spain, so he is familiar with the international game. He also played for a couple of years in the US, so he knows the US style. Their previous coach Lavolpe was an idiot.

We are also leaving some of our best players in Europe so they can ensure that they remain starters with their club teams.

Like Oguchi Onyewu. Don't get stuck on Pansy, Jared.

Oguchi Onyewu can divide by zero. Evolution doesn't exist. There are just animals that Oguchi Onyewu allows to live.

Good times.

Good times.

You were kind of rambling, the gist is .. the US Vs: Mexico at 8 on Wedneday, correcto? The National teams or a club match? Is this some kind of World Cup event? Futbol has so many things I am still trying to understand, and I really am. I was in a London pub when the English scored against the hated Argentinians in 02. Since then I've been trying to get into this sport. So, yes I'm a dumb American when it comes to soccer, but I want to learn.

Yeah, National teams, Voof.

You Outed me, I do ramble.

Just ignore my rambling, one guy in Mexico City told you all you need to know:

Quote:
"It hurts us here," said Jose Luis Luviano, 21, punching his chest. Tears melted the Mexican flags painted on his cheeks. "There has to be an end to this disgrace where (Americans) treat us like rats and idiots."
