I found out about this stuff on another web-site. It's a honey-ainse flavored liquor that is only made in this area. It sounds delicious. Does anyone know where it can be purchased? Is it good? Thanks

I bet that there will be some liquor stores in Playa that run it, but wouldn't know for sure...

yes, anywhere. it is a standard item here. all the grocery stores, the booze shops, etc.

I fell in love with the stuff my first trip to the Yucatan. It's located in any average size liquor store there. Covi, Walmart, Chedraui. It's relatively cheap, only about $7.00- $8.00 per litre. I always grab a bottle or two at the airport to take home with me as it's not available in the US. DELICIOUS in cafe mayas.

it's quite tasty, if you like Sambuca or Anisette.

I am sure it is fairly easy to find in liquor stores on Fifth; we only found out about it on a tour that stopped in Vallalodid and they were giving samples at the market there. 'Mexican Viagra' the guy called it.

Here in Akumal. In Super Express I have found more than seven different brands.
