The prices at la Pesca are good. I don't think they are over-priced. I love the food and service there. Antonio is a sweetheart. The day we went, they were a bit slow because they were training a waiter. Both Antonio and our waiter apologized...that was nice of them to do so.

I know I'm repeating myself but the Cazuala de Camarone(shrimp soup with cheese) is to die for!

The pesca con ajo was excellent.I would rate it in the top ten best I have had, and I am really picky about the fish that I eat.

I hope that everyone supports a restuarant that is concerned about quality and customer satisfaction.

We already know what can happen if quality and concern are not supported...

I had Shrimp Diablo at El Oasis a few years back and Jamie (owner at the time) Came out and warned me that it was HOT!. And it was. Just what I wanted. I also tried the Diablo at El Oasis again this year and it wasn't very hot this time. I think maybe some of the places might be toning down the spices for the tourists. Also I don't think Antonio was cooking that night. Everyones meal was very good. We'll go back again next time I'll just tell the cook I want it Mucho Diablo.

A lot of Peeps are checking this place out, and finding that they like it. I do worry, however, beacause they don't seem to get much other business. Its a shame, as they are better than the other seafood joints (including the ones on La Quinta). I have been telling a lot of people at the school, but to no avail. I hope they make it for the long haul.

I´m sorry I didn´t reply sooner we are just leaving PdC and have had limited internet. I´ll get back to you on the price, but I´m going to say it was 15 pesos per taco. They could have been lightly breaded, whatever they were they were the freshest shrimp I´ve ever had and I live along the gulf coast where we get some fresh shrimp. My margarita was 35 or 40 pesos and were very good, but I always order mine with hornitos tequila which they carry.

We did go back a second time and it was just as good. The restaurant had more people in it but talking with Antonio and his wife they said the day prior it had been empty. This is a good restaurant run by good people. Service is excellent too. I know I said it would the first place we eat when in PdC because of the Mega, but we´d go even if Mega weren´t right across the street. I hope everyone will frequent it.

Best fish deal in Playa

I ordered the whole fried fish at Pesca, thinking it was the normal sized entre as I usually receive. Check out this beauty! It easily could have fed two people..........and it was perfectly cooked and as fresh as can be found.

Pesca has become my family's regular last meal in Playa before we have to go home..............because it leaves such a sweet taste in your mouth and you dream of coming back.

Spread the word and keep this excellent restaurant in business and prosperous. They deserve it.
